 赔率像毒品！他从5元赌到欠下20万元
曾经，每到深夜，球赛的直播声伴着诱人的赔率，成了他生活的全部。现年34岁的项目经理吴诗辉坦言，足球赛的即时赔率像毒品一样，把他拉进了一条险路。那时候，一周可以赢7000元，但也可能一天内输。” 吴诗辉第一次接触赌球，是在服役期间。“当兵时挺空闲的，服役认识的朋友都有看球下注的习惯，我也被吸引。” 他说，起初自己只下注5元、10元，小额的收获让他尝到甜头，也滋生了贪念。“看到朋友赢钱，我也想试。那时候一个月只有500元津贴，便觉得赌球是一条更快赚钱的路。” 渐渐地，他越赌越大，从几十元到几百元，再到上千元，一周赢几千元的兴奋，让他忘了风险。“有时整个月薪水都押下去。赢时觉得很高兴，输时又想赢回来。”
十年沉沦欠下20万元
离开军营、进入职场后，吴诗辉成为程序员。目前已经升任项目经理的他，收入提高，赌注也随之翻倍。只是越赌越输，十年间，债务从几百几千，滚到二十万。“最高峰时，我欠了17组放贷人，每个月要还超过一万元。” 为了还债，他曾向银行与家人借钱。母亲察觉他不再给家用，才隐约感觉不对劲。直到真相揭开，母子之间的信任随之崩塌。那时候脾气很坏，常失眠、暴躁，也不想上班。有时输了钱，就请病假不去。” 他形容，那段日子像被困在一个没有出口的隧道，世界变得黑暗、郁闷且绝望。-- 更多内容请点击下面8world链接：

The Silver Lining celebrates its 7th anniversary in operation. This video shows our journey and how TSL has positively impact the lives of ex-gamblers and ex-debtors. As a non profit organisation and a full member of National Council of Social Service, we provide counselling, debt management education and crisis intervention.

After Steven declared bankrupt, but still continued his gambling ways. With harassment from debt collectors and the stress faced by his loved ones, his relationship with his family and friends quickly deteriorated. At his lowest point, he was introduced to TSL by his wife, who knew of TSL through a friend. He thought, "There's no harm trying." And that was the beginning the transformation of his life.

After one year, he is debt free, his marriage restored, and is even working full time at TSL, to help others with a similar past to regain their footing in life.

At his lowest point, Raymond attempted suicide, but thankfully, the stool broke before he could jumped.

Raymond's life then took a turning point when his wife introduced him to TSL. Today, he has left gambling and he is living a new life.

THE STORY OF "AH LOO"

“I had a stable job, but became addicted to horse-racing. In the end, I owed 4 banks a total of $50,000! I tried to kick the habit thrice but failed. Fortunately my wife accompanied me to a Silver Lining course she found, where I met a lot of ex-problem gamblers. They taught me how to take my own responsibility, and repay my debt bit by bit, so that I can regain my dignity!”

“In order to end the harassment from loan sharks, I had to sell my flat and roam the streets with my family. Eventually, I joined Silver Lining’s problem gambling course and met many ex-problem gamblers. They even taught me how to be a hawker, and life became more secure for my family and me. Now, I can see happiness ahead!”

"为了结束阿窿精神上的折磨，我把房子卖了，和妻儿流离失所。后来我参加了晨曦的戒赌课程，认识很多前赌友。他们教我做小贩的技能，让我和家人的生活稳定下来。现在，我看得到幸福了！"
